Overview

Transform your Large Language Model (LLM) expertise with the AI Champions Bootcamp (Blended), designed to turn basic users into power users and proactive problem solvers. Master advanced prompting techniques for greater control over LLM outputs and learn to build impactful LLM pipelines using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agent-based frameworks.

Apply your skills through hands-on projects, creating web-based solutions that serve as high-fidelity prototypes and deliver real value to your organisation, equipping yourself with the tools to harness AI’s full potential.

Tailor your learning journey to your needs. Choose your preferred learning modality: either this blended approach combining online and face-to-face sessions or explore our fully online version of AI Champions Bootcamp (Online).

Key Takeaways

At the end of the programme, you will be able to:
  • Explain how a Large Language Model (LLM) works
  • Build a basic LLM workflow
  • Develop a basic AI Solution for Cloud deployment

Who Should Attend

  • Please refer to the job roles section.
  • ICT&SS professionals who are familiar with coding, databases, and other IT operations, and want to be able to integrate AI solutions into current applications or workflow.

Prerequisites

You are required to have basic coding background in Python (such as completion of Data Champions Bootcamp or equivalent programme, or staff from related job roles).

What To Bring

Hardware

You MUST have a personal or work laptop/desktop with full administrative rights and unrestricted access to the Internet.  This is because you are required to (a) install software and (b) upload files to SP’s PoliteMall.  Without such a device, you will not be able to complete the required tasks required, and thus, unable to meet the requirements for course completion.

iPads and tablets can be used for viewing the e-learning contents, but they are NOT able to replace the laptop/desktop for the mandatory hands-on tasks.

GSIB laptops are strongly NOT recommended as such laptops are not able to facilitate file uploads and installation of additional software by the users themselves.

Licensed Software

  • To complete the required project, you may also be required to pay for secure hosting and/or OpenAI API keys.
  • You must have access to MS Teams to participate in the online seminar and forum.
