  • Identify team members and stakeholders to resolve identified problems
  • Define the process flow of key components of eight disciplines (8D) problem-solving methodology
  • Apply relevant tools, processes and technologies to facilitate problem identification, investigation, analysis and resolution
  • Identify the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) tools
  • Conduct RCA by review product and process flow diagrams to locate the root cause of problems
  • Identify Risk Assessment techniques
  • Perform risk assessment with Failure Mode and Affects Analysis (FMEA) process, tools and applications
  • Apply FMEA to identify and assess actual and potential failures in product and process designs
  • Corrective And Preventive Actions (CAPA) – using POKA YOKE methods
  • Recommend interim containment actions
  • Decide corrective actions for identified failure modes
  • Develop execution and project plans for solution implementation
  • Blameless culture in the RCA Process
