Programme Structure
This programme will cover the following topics:
Introduction to AI and ML
- You will be introduced to various popular buzzwords
- Demystify terms such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, neural networks, and deep learning
State-of-the-Art AI
- You will be exposed to state-of-the-art technologies in AI (e.g., object detection, natural language processing, etc.) across sectors such as finance, human resources, etc
- Recognise that AI is not a silver bullet and be aware of its limitations
- You are expected to submit a proposal on how AI might possibly be applied in your workplace
AI Strategy, Expectations and Considerations
- You will be exposed to several AI strategies relevant to their firms during digital transformations
- Based on the proposal, you will carry out some pen-and-paper exercises to design ML applications
Hands-on with ML
- From the pen-and-paper exercises in lesson 3, you will get to utilise a visual programming environment to create an ML prototype via drag-and-drop interactions without code
Social Implications
- Discuss possible social and ethical implications of AI, such as ethics in decision-making, bias, and privacy
