Visualization and UI (Digital Twin-specific)3D Modeling
Job Roles
ICT&SS ProfessionalSpecialised Systems Engineer (Digital Twin)
Overview
Gain an overview and knowledge regarding creating models from pointcloud using a solution provided by Trimble Sketchup.
In recent years, Building Information Modeling (BIM) is getting more attention, and thus, creating models for BIM applications is getting more popular as well. On top of that, a very quick and effective way of capturing reality is via laser scanning, so creating as-built models from laser scan data (pointcloud) is the most efficient method.
Key Takeaways
At the end of this programme, you will be able to:
Use various native tools in Sketchup to create accurate 3D models for BIM applications as well as other downstream usage
Import and manipulate scan data in the Sketchup environment for the purpose of creating a digital twin
Who Should Attend
Please refer to the job roles section.
BIM managers and modelling personnel.
2D CAD drafting technicians progressing into 3D modeling.
