A 3-day course for public officers who wish to perform geospatial analytics using QGIS. Through various scenario-based hands-on exercises, participants will understand better on QGIS's capabilities in building geospatial intelligence into their daily tasks to uncover new insights.

  • Identify subject of interest
  • Obtain & manipulate data
  • Visualise & obtain insights
  • Combine data to answer questions


Day 2

  • Perform site selection
  • Identify potential sites in existing data
  • Assess impact of new site(s)
  • Establish & build workflow model

 

Day 3

  • Perform distance & cluster analysis
  • Learn about network analysis toolset
  • Create simple geo-animation
  • Hands on practice with use cases

This course does not include the certification exam. A certificate of completion will be given to participants upon completion.
