Artificial Intelligence (AI) has garnered increasing awareness and interest over the years. Many countries and organisations have started to adopt AI for use in various applications in hope to improve productivity and efficiency. With the widespread use of AI, it has become inevitable that the spotlight has been slowly shifting from how AI can be applied, to the need for Responsible AI implementation in order to promote AI innovation and adoption in a responsible manner.

This course aims to provide participants with the knowledge of responsible AI principles and practices, and its relevance to the different stages of AI model development. This course also look into important topics such as fairness, bias, explainability and vulnerability of AI models.

  • Participants are required to bring your own internet-enabled laptop with these recommended configurations; 1.8 GHz, 2-core Intel Core i3 or equivalent, Microsoft Windows 10, 8GB (or higher) RAM.The recommended web browser is Google Chrome to access courseware on the ISS learning management system.
  • Participants' own laptop is required to be able to access Internet (e.g., Google Drive, Gmail, etc). Participants are also required to have their own Google account.
